To render the full effect, specify a base file name in the File field and click Render . At the end of the processing, the rendered sequence is automatically added as a new scene in your movie. Should you wish to undo the effect, you will have to return to the Edit mode and use -> .
You can switch to another tab while Kino continues to render in the background; however, if you do any editing, the results are unpredictable unless you edit something beyond the end of the effect range.
Click Pause in the transport controls to pause rendering.
Click Stop in the transport controls to cancel rendering.

---|---|
Canceling does not prevent the editing of the result into the movie; the rendered clip will just be shorter than expected. This is a feature because, if you are not sure Preview is working well enough, you can render a portion and review it in Edit. To re-render, use -> , return to FX, check your range, and click Render. |
